Thank you to everyone who participated in our first (and hopefully annual) event! Alumni, former teachers and guests had a great time, as did the residents hearing School Day stories. This event featured:

• Displays of school artifacts and historical photos including the Ellwanger and Barry legacy
• Floor plans before & after the conversion
• Open House of 7 condominiums including the old nursery school
• Entertainment by Off-Monroe Players, the Silvertones & Salt 'n' Peppa
• Displays by Maribel Ruiz Maxon, Rochester Museum & Science Center, Colgate Divinity School, the Church on the Hill and the Landmark Society
• Book signing with Richard Reisem, author, historian & speech writer along with photographers, Frank Gillespie & Andy Olenick
• Visit by Mayor Bill Johnson
• Raffle & Silent Auction
• Lots of reminiscing & smiles!
